Tenant Maintenance

What do I do if I have a maintenance problem?

You should contact Key-Lets as soon as possible, using the contact number given when moving in. Your problem will be logged and in turn Key-Lets will liaise with the Landlord and organise a visit to assess the works required or for a tradesman to carry out the repair. You will then be contacted and a time allocated for when the problem will be attended.
Please note that only Key-Lets or the Landlord can authorise any work carried out on the property.  The bill becomes the tenant’s responsibility if you call out a tradesperson without express authorisation and become liable for any situation that arises from your action.

When can I expect someone to attend to the problem?

Once you have registered you maintenance query it will be assessed as to the response time required for that problem. For example if there is a water leak or gas leak, then this is considered a priority and someone will call to attend these matters as soon as possible. If the query is relating to a broken door handle, the time allocated to repair this may be considerably longer but within a reasonable time period.
